Compact and Discreet
The EVX-S24 is our smallest and lightest digital radio. It is slim and easy to carry so it is ideal for hospitality, education, retail and for any market that values convenience and size.

Water Submersible and Dust Proof
The EVX-S24 meets international standard IP67 for water submersibility and is dust proof. The EVX-S24 is protected from immersion in water up to 3 feet (1 meter) for 30 minutes and offers complete protection from dust.

Conversion Made Easy with Digital to Analog Integration
eVerge radios operate in both analog and digital modes and can be used with any existing analog two-way radios.

Direct Mode
Direct Mode enables you to have two communication paths on a single frequency effectively doubling your call capacity without the need of a repeater.

Transmit Interrupt
When seconds matter, transmit interrupt allows an operator with encode capabilities to halt or “interrupt” any current transmission, in favor of a priority message. EVX-S24 is decode only, which allows messages to be interrupted.

Better Radio Call Quality
Digital eliminates noise and static from voice transmit to only deliver the intended voice message crisply and clearly. eVerge digital radios feature the AMBE+2 vocoder for enhanced voice quality.

Better Message Control and Privacy
Control who you call and who gets your message in digital mode. Digital radios each have a unique ID enabling users to select who they need to call or send a text message without including others.

Site Search
Move between multiple sites seamlessly by using the Site Search functionality on your EVX-S24 radio. Manually or automatically initiate Site Search to identify the signal of the closest site with the strongest signal strength. The
EVX-S24 portable will dynamically change its pre-programmed home site to the site with the strongest signal in range. Great for operations with multiple locations or buildings with multiple floors.

Direct Mode
Direct Mode enables you to have two communication paths on a single frequency effectively doubling your call capacity without the need of a repeater.

Transmit Interrupt
When seconds matter, transmit interrupt allows an operator to halt or “interrupt” any current transmission, in favor of a priority message. Transmit Interrupt functionality ensures your critical messages will connect.

Safety Not Sacrificed
Emergency alert can be programmed to instantly notify help with a press of a button. Lone Worker is a built-in timer that requires the user to reset at a predetermined interval. If not reset, the radio automatically switches to Emergency mode to alert help. An ideal solution for supervisors to monitor the safety status of radio users working alone. VOX capable with accessory.

Universal Battery System – One Size Fits All
The Universal Battery System for Vertex Standard portable radios takes energy interoperability to a new level by utilizing a single charger base to support multiple radio series when used with designated UNI batteries. What is EVX-Link?
Expanding your reach has never been easier than now with EVX-Link. This small and light weight system offers t he latest evolution in digital technology, providing a solution with greater speed, ability and affordability. EVX-Link allows digital DMR radios to connect f aster and with multiple coverage areas easily and seamlessly regardless of geography. EVX-Link is also portable and expandable and can be installed virtually in any situation possible. Users also don't need to replace any infrastructure or employ a repeater. EVX-Link is also more cost-effective than traditional systems using IP connect ions and works with any DMR digital platform..

Who Should Use EVX-LINK?
EVX- Link is perfect for customers needing to communicate in just a bout every situation possible: high-rise buildings, large campuses, transportation routes, geographically separated sites.

EVX-Link provides a seamless and re liable connection via the use of an existing Local Area Network (LAN) or internet. It works with or without a repeater infrastructure which offers great flexibility. EVX-Link is very effective since it can also be used with existing systems or can replace legacy high power repeater equipment. Up to 30 coverage areas can be networked by adding an EVX-Link system (link and mobile) to each location. EVX-Link offers the ability to have users roam between coverage areas while radios automatically change to the new EVX-Link location. All EVX Subscriber products can be used with EVX-Link just by reprogramming the radios, which is another reason why EVX-Link is a better way to connect.

Why is EVX-LINK Better?
EVX-Link is the next evolution in expanding your reach. A significant difference between EVX-L ink and other similar products in t he market is that no repeat er is required. The unique features of the EVX-Link system work with either on- site or repeater-based systems - or a mix of both. Best of all, it's easy to install with no disruption to current systems and is very cost effective.

The benefits of EVX-Link are:

  • Build on your existing network- Your existing network can be used since there is no need to rep lace existing equipment
  • No repeat er required- Works with either on- site or repeater- based systems- or a mix of both
  • Versatile Coverage - Place EVX-Link anywhere in each desired coverage area
  • Compatible with- all RF Bands and any DMR digital platform
  • Simple set up and configuration- all you need is electric power and a Ethernet connection at each EVX-Link location
  • Expandable Coverage- Up to 30 sites
  • Affordability - A cost-effective solution over traditional systems using IP connections which works with any DMR digital platform.

You can afford to enhance your communications with the digital performance of eVerge™ two-way radios. eVerge™ radios are compact and precision-engineered to deliver value without sacrificing quality -- giving you more capabilities and the flexibility you need to communicate at your best.

Conversion Made Easy with Analog Integration
eVerge™ radios operate in both analog and digital modes and can be used with any existing analog two-way radios.

Do Digital Right: Stay Compatible and Maximize Efficiency
eVerge™ digital radios operate using the Time-Division Multiple Access (TDMA) digital mobile radio protocol to achieve spectrum and power efficiency and lower total equipment cost compared to FDMA (Frequency Division Multiple Access). It is important to note these two protocols are not compatible. So, unlike analog, not all digital radios work together in digital mode. Over 74% of digital radios used worldwide are TDMA -- make the right choice the first time with eVerge™ for a future proof compatible investment.

Better Radio Call Quality
Digital eliminates nosie and static from voice transmit to only deliver the intended voice message crisply and clearly. eVerge™ digital radios feature the AMBE+2 vocoder for enhanced voice quality.

Better Battery Life
Using eVerge™ radios in digital mode can operate up to 40% longer than typical analog mode as a result of the TDMA protocol and reduces overall battery consumption per call.

Better Message Control and Privacy
Control who you call and who gets your message in digital mode. Digital radios each have a unique ID enabling users to select who they need to call or send a text message without including others.

Better Coverage and Connection Monitoring with ARTS II
Get ultra-clear audio right up to the edge of the transmit range. And, with Vertex Standard's exclusive Auto-Range Transpond System (ARTS II), you will always know when you are in or out of range with another ARTS II-equipped radio.

Submersible and Weatherproof
Meets international standard IP 57 for dust and water protection where fresh water does not harm the radio when submersed to 3 feet for up to 30 minutes.

Intrinsically Safe Option
Available as a future release: will meet SGS intrinsically safe requirements for use in hazardous situations.

Option Board Expandable for Additional Applications
The EVX-530 series is desiged for future feature expansion and supporting third-party application development such as location tracking with GPS, rolling code encryption, etc.
